Debrán O’Neil
Debrán has been a member of ASC for over 5 years. For all 5 years, she has been an indispensable Co-Chair of our 5k committee, primarily focusing her efforts on marketing the event.
Debrán represents healthcare facilities in commercial litigation and medical negligence cases. She also advises healthcare facilities and healthcare providers on issues related to peer review, physician credentialing, Stark, Anti-kickback, HIPAA, HITECH Act, and the False Claims Act. Debrán assists clients in litigation by deposing plaintiffs and fact witnesses, working with expert witnesses, drafting and arguing motions, and preparing discovery requests and responses.
Debrán represents clients in other industries as well, with a focus on products liability, personal injury defense, and commercial litigation. Debrán has experience in fraud and fiduciary duty litigation, breach of contract actions, and insurance and real estate disputes. Her work includes taking depositions of fact witnesses and plaintiffs, drafting and arguing motions, handling discovery, and coordinating with various local and national parties.
