Housing Crisis Center’s mission is to prevent homelessness and to stabilize those at risk in decent, affordable, and permanent housing. We provide services designed to prevent homelessness, housing programs that give safety and shelter to those who need our help, and supportive services to our clients to help them address the issues that led contributed to them becoming homeless. More than 10,000 households rely on HCC for assistance each year.
Nexus Recovery Center has assisted more than 20,000 women, adolescents, and children on their journey to recovery since opening in 1971 (first named High Hopes Rehabilitation Center). Parenting classes, family counseling, life skills training, and onsite childcare, combined with our award-winning, accredited treatment programs provide the tools to restore lives and create healthy tomorrows.
Today, with more than 35 years of experience, Rainbow Days has expanded services to include an array of alcohol, tobacco and other drug (ATOD) prevention programs serving nearly 180,000 children in the Dallas community alone. In addition, 42,000 professionals across Dallas, the state of Texas, and the nation have been trained to implement Rainbow Days’ nationally recognized Curriculum-Based Support Groups® or other accredited prevention programs with children in their own communities through the Trans4m Center.
